Loop have just dropped their latest wading jacket: an update on the much-loved Torne, the Torne V2. This isn’t really for the casual angler - it costs a pretty penny and has more features than most cars. I mean, look at all those pockets! In Loop’s own words, “it’s the last wading jacket you’ll ever need to buy”. The Torne V2 has a SympaTex membrane, which regulates body temperature and does an incredible job at keeping wind and rain at bay. It has a water column rating of 45,000mm, which may not necessarily mean much to you, but it’s very, very waterproof. (20,000mm is considered the industry standard for waterproofing.) It has velcro cuffs, a storm hood, fleece-lined chest pockets, YKK waterproof zips, and an incorporated CORDURA face fabric that will stand up to boulders, brambles and general abrasion. This is a wading jacket for those of you who don’t let bad weather get in the way of your fishing.
