WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Fishing is filled with special moments - some big, some small, some monumental. We want you to share the best of them with us. My Kind of River is hosting our inaugural Photography Competition to capture all that is bloody great about the world of fly fishing: the people, the escapism, the adventure, the action. 

We’re thinking of the characters and company you spend time on the water with; the battles, the adrenaline, the heart-in-mouth moments when a fish hits your fly; the incredible places fishing takes you, close to home and abroad, and the tough journeys you take to get there (in all manner of weather); and the little things that others miss, the finer details that make you take a second.

The Judges will be choosing an overall winner, with second and third places receiving prizes as well. There will also be a Caster’s Choice Award, where the highly commended images that just missed out on the top spots will be shared and a winner decided by public votes.
